I am a recent graduate student from the Master of Land and Water Systems at UBC. Originally from Quebec City, I was drawn to British Columbia by its beautiful landscapes and vital research happening in conservation. Conservation work is more important than ever, with the considerable cumulative effects of the past decision and activities weighing on our ecosystems’ ability to recover.

 

The health of watersheds and their species, such as the iconic Pacific salmon, are essential to ensure that beautiful British Columbia continues providing such necessary and invaluable ecosystem services.
