The Moore Lab is seeking a MSc or PhD graduate student to start next year. The focus of the project will be estuary fishes and their food webs. The selected candidate will work in partnership with First Nations fisheries programs in the estuary of the Skeena River, British Columbia. The science is relevant to proposed energy development in the region. Preliminary field-work for this project would start early this summer (May 2016). While we will look for one student to join the Skeena estuary team, there may be additional opportunities to join projects on the population dynamics and ecology of salmon.
